The Combined Spinal Epidural Set features the EPISPIN II with both Tuohy and Sprotte. The Sprotte cannula is introduced into the Tuohy Epidural cannula. The magnifying hub allows quick recognition of the first drop! The Spinal Needle Guide keeps the Sprotte needle straight during introduction, allows visual indication of placement and locks the Sprotte cannula in position in the Tuohy cannula. A special marking on the Sprotte cannula, when covered by the fixation adapter, indicates the cannula is distally protruding the opening of the backeye (by up to 14 mm) making the placement of the spinal cannula considerably easier.
